The Teen Hero Awards, created by the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens, is a nationwide search to honor amazing teens who are making a difference in their community by helping
others. Up to 50 volunteers w
ill be recognized as Teen Heroes and be able to designate a total of up to $280,000 in grants to eligible charities during April's National Volunteer Month.
Established in 1992, the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens is committed to inspiring teenagers to graduate from high school and become productive, caring and educated adults. Through a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Foundation has created a national focus to foster educational, career and service opportunities for teens.
Congratulations!
to our very own
Michelle Herrera
for being chosen as one of the 50 youth nationwide
in 2008 to be recognized as a
TEEN HERO!
Michelle generously directed her donation
of $5000 to the Boys & Girls Club.
THANK YOU
, Michelle!
